Nick Salmon FNAEA (Honoured)
Nick Salmon has over 30 years experience in the residential property industry. After formal training under a president of the RICS he progressed to managing estate agency branches in the home counties before joining the London office of an international property company, as General Manager. This was followed by five years in publishing as a director of the original London Property News. In 1992 he moved back into estate agency, joining the London firm of Lurot Brand where he became managing director.

In 2007 Nick became commercial director of Harrison Murray Estate Agents. Nick has a very high profile in the media both as a writer and commentator on property matters and as leader of the Splinta campaign, a group of over 1,800 firms of estate agents, solicitors and surveyors set up in 2001 to lobby for changes to the government's proposals for Home Information Packs. Nick is an acknowledged expert on HIPs and his work on behalf of the industry has been recognised by the National Association of Estate Agents’ award of Honoured Fellow status.
